Do not go into this movie expecting it to be a Batman movie for adults. The animation is amazing, but the story is absolutely riddled with plot holes and nonsense. This would be a decent movie for kids, as the violence isn't too graphic and the over the top anime elements would definitely appeal to kids. I love anime and was super excited about a Batman anime movie, but the protagonist of this movie isn't Batman...it's a guy who knows nothing about fighting or detective work, dressed in a bat suit. Pretty sure this one was made to sell toys, and not much else. If you're a grown adult who likes the grittier elements of Batman's comic books, skip this movie altogether. You'll be bored to tears.
