The first 8 to 10 episodes were really excellent. Lots of drama lots of build up character development and plot description I thought it was really well done and it stopped at a cliff hanger! When it was brought back for a further six episodes I found it to be very disjointed, not really any connection with the first eight or 10 episodes, I guess there was some but Only peripherally. characters and story line really didn’t make sense and were not developed and then dropped. ( it must be a difficult transition for an actor to go from the comedy series “corner gas” to a drama series) The last two episodes that aired seem to be back to developing some decent characters although a couple of them seem to be a bit over the top. Will I continue to watch it ? Yes unless The storyline and the characters start to become unbelievable.

I found this film to be quite true to its roots. Anybody who has ever lived in a small isolated area where alcoholism was the drug of choice and lived in a dysfunctional family would resonate with this film a lot. I thought it was very well done

I, personally really liked it overall, however I do hope that this is not the end. I felt the characters of Moishe, Yanky, along with Etsy's life in Berlin could really be expanded.
