"Disappointing" and "money back, please" are the phrases that come to mind while watching this film. It feels like a debut effort from the director, writer, and screenwriter, marked by a significant lack of action and excitement. The character development is painfully slow, and the dialogue is dull, lacking wit, emotion, and cultural depth. Additionally, the soundtrack is practically non-existent, further detracting from the overall experience. The story build-up is the worst I have seen—novice at best. It feels less like this is a global thing and more like a very large Central Park experience. The ape and monkey clans have such small populations that it looks like an isolated area rather than a global reality. Honestly, this team should have taken a step back before releasing this film. Money back, please.
