Timeless was the first show that I sat down and watched every episode live in nearly a decade with the last one being Battlestar Galactica. The show has the ability to entertain, educate, and enthrall you with its storytelling, historical backdrops, interesting main cast and "of the week" characters. It has drama, action, and intrigue as we follow our main characters; our "time team" as they fight operatives trying to change history to bring their shadow organization to power.
Where Timeless excels is in helping us understand that who we are today; for better or worse, is a result of past actions and decisions that were complex, and even the warts are worth fighting to preserve. This is evident in the 2nd episode of the series, with IMO, pairs well with the movie "Glory" starting Denzel Washington, Matthew Broderick.
It shows the good and bad, and for a second makes you think, could things have been better if they changed history? Also in that episode we learn of the real letters and classified ads that these soldiers wrote and listed for decades trying to find their family. I never would have learned that without Timeless, and as such I donated to a museum that was helping preserve those letters.
I'm so thankful for this show, the actors, writers, and crew that have still been supportive of the fans, and proud of their work. Timeless is a show I recommend regularly to friends and family; still support the actors, and return to often. I'm thankful to the other #clockblockers for fighting to bring the show back, time and time again. Like Wyatt said "figure out what you're fighting for, and you'll be ok."
