The Defining Marriage of Adrenaline Induced Immersion.
I sincerely admire the unique approach to this soundtrack. 'Men are still Good' (The Batman Suite), at least at its conclusion, is pure spectacle and orchestral brilliance by Junkie XL and Hans Zimmer. The bombastic metal drums and the highly maniacal motif in the background elevates it from a traditional action theme. It's frightening and demonic, yet it gives a sense of dark courage and strength. The theme's intensity pierces through the crux of anger and rage vehemently. At the end of the theme, as the tempo increases and the motif increases in pitch, there's a sudden burst of energy as your will to focus and achieve something increases. You leave with a euphoric sense of aggression and boldness like no other music could give.
"Fight Night" and "Is she with you" come across as the garnishes to "Men are Still Good's" main course. Intense and immersive, you find yourself in the middle of a chaotic , unforgiving battleground as the fast paced violin motifs and heqrd hitting bases act as a battle cry against the unfortunate tidings of life.
"A Beautiful Lie," the peaceful choral theme act as the cooling agent in the soundtrack as we reflect on Bruce's despair and helplessness after his parents' death. The sombre, depressing tone makes you go soft for this beast of a Batman, acting more potent when you compare it alongside"Men are Still Good."
Composers should take lessons from Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. They truly know how to create an adrenaline pumping, immersive experience.
