I finished TriStamp a couple of weeks ago (with everyone else) but I had to come back to say just how awesome I thought this anime was. I've been apprehensive about CG/3D styles in anime in the past because it doesn't always work the best, it can be stiff, bland and cold expressively. Tristamp combines 2D and 3D styles in such a perfect and gorgeous way the entire show was gorgeous. I was apprehensive about some things at first. A little sad that my girl milly didn't show her face (allusions in the last episode made me SO EXCITED) But I ended up falling in love with the changes. Stampede has a different vibe than 98 and I respect that and enjoyed it. I still recognized all the original characters and loved the new ones (Roberto, Tesla, etc). I haven't felt the way I did about Trigun since I first watched FMAB (My favorite anime of all time, and knowing Arakawa was a Trigun fan makes A LOT of sense). I can firmly say this has got me back into anime as a whole with the gorgeous visuals, music, plot. I can't wait for season two.
