Would give movie 0 stars if I could. I grew up with this wonderful notion of the legend of John Henry and his hammer. An oral tradition I was told by my father who was told by his father about a motivated black man, once a slave, that prevailed and did what he set out to do despite difficult circumstances. I cannot believe this terrible movie had the audacity to be named after a beloved Black icon-Fictional or non-fictional icon-I am so damn mad at this movie RN!
