I really don't see why this is getting such great reviews. We went as a large group and everyone of us was disappointed. Two of us fell asleep the first hour. They completely missed out on telling the story on a significant part of history here. From the start we were so confused on what was going on, with the story jumping all over the place. And more focus being on a trial about his security clearance than of the bomb making and destruction itself. My husband is a huge WWII buff and thought this was one of the worst movies he's ever seen. Would have been better as a series where they could go into each character and within a timeline, verses time jumps. There was hardly anything on Einstein's involvement or how this ended the war or on the horrible destruction it did. Lots of unanswered questions as well. I will say, the casting and acting was top notch. Which is the only reason why I gave it 2 stars. But overall, a very boring movie, loaded with non-stop dramatic music trying to keep you interested to only be disappointed with no climax.
