I will definitely give this movie another watch. Will Smith’s portrayal of Peter was moving. I didn’t recognize him. He became Peter. Will Smith’s accent for Peter was excellent. Peter’s (Will Smith) strength and love for his family powerful. I can envision Will Smith relating to Peter. The black and white film with splashes of greens and shades of red brought out the feel of despair, struggles and grittiness of war and the treatment of slaves. The movie makes you feel and think and you know then it’s worth watching.
