As an individual living in a rural part of PA I find the messages about rural America and agriculture totally wrong. It is the complete opposite of what these individuals think. Many people are moving out of urban areas to rural areas where many of the expensive homes are being built. Also the higher test scores are in the consolidated rural schools rather than the urban and older suburban schools. The attacks on farming and farmers are hard to believe. Agricultural products are largest exports we have and keep the trade deficit smaller than what it would be. Agriculture is the most efficient industry the nation has ever had. Having lived on a farm we got very few subsidies except for a small tax write off for fertilizer. If we could run our factories like we could run are farms this country would not have any economic problems.
