omg this movie was so good, and the choice to do it all through web cameras/social media was so creative. It was kind of jarring at first but I got used to it pretty fast and then I really liked it. The 1 star reviews on this movie are so funny because it’s clearly just old people who don’t understand technology. My favorite is the one of the guy calling gen z lazy and then complaining about all the reading he had to do to get the plot haha. The twists were so good, and the characters felt real. Also our main character ?? Hello?? she’s so so smart and tech savvy, I probably would just cry if my mom went missing. Also the social media felt real? especially the tiktok bits. People are complaining about the camera quality like its not meant to be realistic? like sorry i didn't know you texted people with something that has a fancy hollywood camera 🙄. Definitely agree with the people who are saying they didnt like seeing it in theatre. I watched it on netflix so probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it on disc or in a movie theatre. Not a great movie to eat snacks with, I was so immersed I completely forgot that I had food with me til the credits. LMAOO def recommended if you wanna watch something quick and you’re already paying for the Netflix subscription, might as well right?? Anyways, I liked it. Theres my 2 cents.
