I was severely underwhelmed by all the hype. I wasn’t ever scared and by the way people described it, made it seem like you’d be questioning everything around you. Maybe it’s because I listen to true crime. Not sure. The author wrote beautifully though. I just wasn’t impressed based on others reviews
