The song sang about “black boys and girls that don’t go out at night and are scared of the police” is unacceptable !!! If someone sang a song about “white” kids - well, never mind, that would not be allowed, the media would label your show racist ! Maybe it should have included a verse that if “anyone “ breaks the law and does not follow orders from the police, which are trained to deal with criminals, then there will be consequences. Everyone else has to obey the law !! I think this was a political statement by your show/network. Instead of using tv to express your opinion, chose the performances that exhibit real talent.
