I don't hate the show. As a "supernatural" show, it really isn't that bad. I think they could dial back on the cgi and special effects. But my main issue is how far away from cannon it has gone. Supernatural told us that John didn't know about monsters and hunting until Mary was killed by the yellow eyed demon. Now he suddenly knows about that world and met Mary because of it? When they said they were doing a Supernatural spinoff, I was hoping it would be more about Sam and Dean as kids, delving deeper into their tough upbringing on the road.
