I thought in the first episode it’s going to be boring, so I stopped. But out of curiosity for actor Jerry Yan, I rewatch it and it slowly grew on me that this hospital political in-fighting for the position of prestige is not different from other hospital politics I’d heard and seen in our country. There’s no difference so it piqued my curiosity to watch more, the more I watched, the more I’m hooked on how the doctors are no different from politicians. No matter what career you’re in, it’s all the same.

So far it’s the best show I’ve watched but the many twists and turns is definitely confusing and needs to go back and watch again. But in a good way, it’s a show that makes you think and script (translated) is too deep for foreigners to understand. And the culture is not really made for foreigners who didn’t study Chinese history or literature to really comprehend. But to those who have that Chinese education would make sense. I love shows that are deep such as this. Just too much depressing scenes that should be reduced. But on the side, there’s also funny scenes that make you laugh and wonder how to be done. It’s done just right. You must be patient with watching this show. Because the waiting of happy ending really takes time. If you want a fairy tale ending, just watch until episode 60. But if you want a realistic ending then you should watch the 12 episodes more.
