William Hook

I’ve read every Gabriel Allon book in the series up to this one. While his political leaning has been obvious, it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the series. At the end of this book however, he engaged in a wild display of conspiracy theories, disinformation and a twisting of the facts. I was willing to overlook it at first but when it became obvious that this is the type of disinformation that could damage our republic, I cut it off with less than 30 minutes to go. I returned the book for a refund and returned the next in the series that I had just purchased. I will never read another Daniel Silva book. Disgraceful.
