An above-average thriller made better by the final reveal and Mohan Lal's acting.

Superb film. Everything just about right especially considering the time it came out and being the debut for the director.

I watch a lot of films in all languages. I have read the book it is based on and then have watched the film thrice. I admit I have a liking for such films but the film is really good. Fun, light at the same time with some heft. Nice performances by everyone.

The plot by itself doesn't have much. But the atmospheric direction and a brilliant Robin Williams make it a good watch n you don't end up disappointed. Rating: 3.5 stars.

A pretty decent thriller. Well made except for a few scenes which could have been staged better. Was totally invested in the story through out. Sub-plots were good except for a few minor niggles.

Good. But could have been done better while retaining the same plot.

Very well made revenge drama though the story is very predictable.

Except for a few moments n a good song, felt mostly indifferent towards what was happening in the film. The plight of slum dwellers seem to be some kind of add-on which is meant to lend some heft to the proceedings.

A typical Woody Allen movie. But not bad or boring. A watchable fare.
