Yeah, it's corny. Yep, it's predictable. It's also a holiday movie that will have you giggling, rolling your eyes and even seeing yourself in the wacky characters. Kids will enjoy it, parents will appreciate it for its simplicity and dated-but-lasting charm. This movie doesn't try to take itself seriously and you shouldn't either.

It's a fun, sexy, flirty musical. Don't overthink it, just watch and enjoy.

Ben Affleck looks bloated, tired and over it. He pretty much dials in his performance. The other actors do their best, but this by-the-numbers story checks almost every action-movie-trope box.
