Don’t know if younger moviegoers would like it (or get some of the humor), but I loved it— knowing I would like Jean Squibb. Laughs and tears. Entertaining and important.

I saw it when I was 9 years old and more than once since then. Every time, it moves and informs me. It is still excellent in every way and provides a stark history about how a people can be manipulated… important for those who were not born until long after WWII. A stellar cast with a few actors doing work unlike anything they had done before. They did it brilliantly.

A real shame that the creators of this beautifully produced and acted series felt they had to rewrite Dickens’ work. Disappointing.
