I grew up in Pike County KY in the 60's I was a coal truck driver up and down highway 119 during the 70's while it was a two lane and a four lane road.
I finally got old and retired but watched all that crack and the dope rob our youth of many brain cells and made them lazy.
Yes I did read Mr.vances book and it brought tears to my eyes.
Good book I can't comment on the film made from the book for I haven't seen it yet.

All I can say about it is the album just fades in goes up then down and up and down again then just when you thought you figured it out it's over.
