This 4th season is just so bad, and unwatchable. The show is boring, and not funny anymore. Maybe creators were too busy with making The Boys and Gen Z, that instead of making one good show they made two below average ones. The parts they made for laughs weren’t funny; like deep killing the octopus (since when octopus makes gasping for air sounds). Hughie sexual assault wasn’t funny at all to me. The whole season felt like they didn’t have much plot to work with, so they were adding subplots that could be easily skipped. For example the Frenchies bf thing was completely unnecessary to plot. Basically in season 3 he and Kimiko kissed. Then in 4th they both suddenly not interested, and at the end of season 4 they kiss again. Seem like totally made up story just to kill some time. Same with Kimoko past flashbacks or Frenchies jail time. This didn’t have much effect on the whole plot. Butcher condition seem worsening and then suddenly he gets better. I could care less for Hughie mom who disappeared as fast as she showed up. All this felt like it was just added to kill some screen time. This season was huge disappointment and I’m not surprised next season will be the last one.

Just watched on Netflix. It’s a biographical movie, but so many facts are omitted. Biographical movies shouldn’t do that. Director and producer choose just part of Richard Williams life, and made him look like a good man. But he is in fact quite terrible person. He talks how he doesn’t want to walk away from his daughters, and protect them but he abounded his 5 oldest children. People do mistakes but he never repaired relationships with his oldest kids. Movie ends early in their career they don’t show he fired Rick Macci. Rick was training for free his daughters for 4 years, and paying rent and supporting his family. But when the first money came, they kicked him to the curb. He didn’t sue, and instead sign agreement for undisclosed sum of money. If you look up his net worth you can say he got majority screwed. He even admitted it, in some interviews. They ended movie early in their career, before all this happened to make it look like feel good story but it wasn’t good experience to everyone. Biographical movies shouldn’t distort reality this much.

The movie is very action packed and entertaining. Action scenes don’t disappoint. If you just watch it and don’t question the plot, and take everything at face value you will have fun. But this is first MI movie I was bit confused with plot. I also questioned motives of some characters. Maybe there was too many of them, and not enough time to build characters. There is not enough info about the villain, and what are his motives. Him and Ethan have a past, and that plot is straight from B class movie. Grace is not likable, and when she had a change of heart it wasn’t believable. Hayley Atwell also doesn’t have chemistry with Tom Cruise. In my opinion not a good pairing. White widow seem weak compared to last movie (so out of character). I feel like when they were writing this script they just focus on putting a lot of action scenes. But didn’t care to make cohesive and compelling storyline. I’m hoping next installment will be better.
