Another dumb show… stayed for the spy aspect though. The “in between the lines” themes are ridiculously boring. The leftist multiculturalism, the discrediting of the institutions, the Christian villain, the overzealous college student, etc. Jack Ryan is better. The villain story, would’ve been great… without the tired old politics of Hollywood. At the end of the day, unfortunately this is the type of politics in our intelligence community.

I can’t think of a show where I’ve disliked every single character. Nobody looks the part, Arthur is painted as a wise character but makes dumb decisions. Derfel looks like a joke and Guinevere is a black woman with blonde hair. Ladwys fake wig and the dumb “love” choice by Arthur is just so overdone and stupid. Correction, the bishop is the only character who seems likeable. I watched the show because I love the time in history but it’s a dumb show. The only thing missing is the out of place for its time, gay character which I’m sure will be present in season 2. I won’t be watching season 2 though.
