I would love to give this 5 stars stars, visually it’s amazing, cast is great, some brilliant characters, but the episodes aren’t long enough, I got to the end of episode 4 and felt like it was just filler. I’ve just seen episode 7 and it just isn’t long enough to get your teeth into the story. Each episode is between 55 minutes and an hour, but when you take off the 9 minutes of Credits at the end and roughly 4/5 minutes of recap, opening music and preview the next episode there’re only about 45 minutes long. I hope the last 2 episodes mean I could give it five stars. I think it should have been 8 one hour episodes rather than 9 forty minute episodes. I wasn’t a fan of The Pacific. Neither can come close to Band of Brothers.
