If you’re going to say it’s based on a true story, then actually base it on the true story. The actual story involved real exorcisms performed by real Catholic priests. Movies like this make people think that any Protestant “minister” can cast out demons which leads to more trouble when things like this happen for real. Even in the true story that inspired The Exorcist, they first went to a Lutheran pastor who then referred them to a Catholic priest because he didn’t know what to do. That is reality folks. And we can see that in the true story of Latoya’s family who this movie was supposed to based on. It was the Catholic Church that helped them. It’s ridiculous to try to twist the story around and try to make it like some lady can just pop out of nowhere and call herself an “apostle” and try to face off a demon. “I don’t need no intercessions” What a joke…
