I tried giving this movie the benefit of the doubt even after watching the trailers and feeling disappointed from it already, however, the trailers really do just tell the plot of the entire story. For starters, the plot is all over the place and feels too generic. There's no twists or backstories any of the characters as they all lack unique traits. Asha the main protagonist is just another character fitting into the "im so quirky" narrative and we get to know pretty much nothing about her, there isn't much character development, the second she faces a struggle she learns how to face it almost immediately. Her group of friends being the supporting characters don't make it much better, they all lack to the plot and are very forgettable with very little screen time. The villain, Magnifico, has a very generic villain personality which you could assume from the get-go what his intentions are, however, there isn't much to his motive it's just "im evil because i love myself ahahaha". Not to mention the animation of the movie just makes the entire thing much more insufferable as it's just so unsatisfying to look at while trying to keep your focus on a mediocre plot that feels AI generated and very rushed. I understand that it's kids movie but kids do deserve good movies to watch as Disney has released much better before in the 2010s, they just seem to lack creativity within the past few years and this movie was only released as an attempt to prove that they're doing well and are producing good movies just as much as their competitors are, however, they are failing miserably.
