This will sound bad, but I have to say this.
If I were to sum up this movie for its lack of honesty and realism, lets just say that the movie would have been better if it went something like this ...
911 Dispatcher: "Hello, what's your emergency?"
Victim: "...hurry, a person of color <fill in the blank>"
Police appear magically, the victim is saved.
Roll credits.
Sorry. I had to say this.
This is an honest look at how something like what this movie tried to convey is often resolved with -- through racial or bias reactions, as we see in a lot of the news footage or what everyday camera users often capture.
This movie lacked any sense of common sense and was a very, very bad representation of any potential truth. It was not escapism, it was a never ending joke that wasn't funny, or entertaining.
Even if you take out what I think would have made this movie close to plausible, here is one spoiler ...
(1) The victim of the film used her horn to tick off the bad guy.
(2) Later in the movie, she is accosted by the bad guy while in her car, surrounded by lots of other people, in their car.
(3) NOT ONCE did she use her horn to save herself or alert others that this mad man was hitting her car ... in a crowd .. of weirdly inattentive people.
Are you kidding me?
I thought this was going to be an up to date, realistic thrill ride.
It was a second hand, elementary school project, given the green light and a whole lot of money to make intelligent people upset at Hollywood for wasting our valuable time.
Don't waste yours. Ignore this movie.
