Not the worst thing ever, but absolutely nothing compared to the original series. Some really lazy corners were cut in very noticeable scenes, bad voice acting, weak and convoluted story, inexplicably powerful antagonists when we have seen Dracula and literal Death. The power of love and friendship can now all of a sudden overcome being a vampire or night creature. For no good reason, Richter becomes Goku. Even Alucard went to waste. The show runners definitely had a checklist for wokeness. Make sure to put female soldiers in because women can do everything a man can, despite that not being historically accurate. Make sure to have gay characters and make it be way more prominent in the story than needed to tell the narrative. And what the hell was up with this shadow thing? Cliffhanger for the next season? Yeah no, am not watching.

This anime has so much lore that is poorly explained. It's erratic and comes out of nowhere. The disassociation is real. I could tune out because some silly, stupid anime shit is happening and in a split second, a really intense action scene is happening, or someone has just said something to recount their tragic backstory and the scene turns serious just like that. There is a looooong stretch of time after the commandments show up that they literally lore dump for entire episodes at a time. It's overwhelming and makes you want to stop watching. In fact, it has in the past. I have never finished this series. I am ready to give up now, and I haven't even made it as far as I did last time. Aside from that, this is the worst power scaled show I have ever seen. At the beginning, gilthunder is shown as supremely powerful. Then meliodas shits on him. And then it's just such an apparently steep power curve from there. Even the humans who staged a treacherous act during the holy war are somehow wrecking giants and fairies. How? The animation gets REALLY BAD as time goes on. Fights start turning into really low effort DBZ super fast punching, but don't look nearly as good. Every character continues to get stronger and stronger and the stakes and danger apparentl seem to grow, but it never feels like it. Ban gave up his immortality and from that point forward, he never took the same level of damage again. He wasn't ripped limb from limb or had his skill crushed like he did before, and it's not like he became better at defending or evading either. His enemy, the fucking Demon King, just didn't feel like using that level of attack against him. The Demon King was the worst final villain ever. Escanor's and Merlin's lore dumps at the very end were ridiculous and I genuinely didn't even care. Merlin's incredibly obtuse 3000 year plan was last minute bullshit added in at the end. Actually hated this anime. Elizabeth was annoying as shit, Meliodas was a goofy pervert who was actually deeply tortured and miserable. King and Diane became incredibly codependent and sickening. Gowther was just strange. The way every single character had to speak in every scene and all attack at the same time are awful anime tropes. Glad I finally finished it so I can confidently say that it was so bad.

This game was only hated because it was the popular thing to do. Since this game released, I've played Scarlet, Omega Sapphire, Soul Silver, White, and Radical Red. This one is my favorite. The main game is easy like all modern Pokemon games are, but it's not dumbed down like Scarlet Violet was. The graphics are good. If you were upset about the tree, see previous statement about jumping on the band wagon and also, we're really nitpicking shit that is literally background, huh? "The Pokemon models and animations have been the same for 3 generations now." So what? They look good, don't they? "The map and story is so linear." Yeah, so is every other game. SV is no exception, because they did not do level scaling like they promised. Sword and shield didn't break promises. Why is this game better than all those other beloved games? Pacing, fluidity, quality of life changes, not having to play it on a DS and being able to use a controller and have a big screen to look at. All the old games are so slow. Movement and battle animations. This game really picks up the pace. Quality of life, the ease of getting TM's and changing my move sets of my Pokemon at will, not having to get to the city with the 6th gym or anything like that. These are the best Pokemon games. The DLC probably could have been included in the main game and locked behind certain story points, and there could definitely have been some improvements here or there, but these are super minor complaints.

Just realized why I never fully enjoyed this game. All the visual noise. The way the camera is constantly skittering around and chasing after each character, not knowing who it wants to focus on. The way the entire screen shakes when any kind of hit is landed or if a heavy lands on the ground or is walking normally. The trail of smoke when a character gets launched and the explosion of light and confetti when someone hits the blast zone. All of that, on top of every other bit particle effects, animations, magic, explosions, fire, etc etc. Having the ability to turn off at least one of these settings in the menu would have been game changing.

Season 2 A lot of just talking with next to no action. Ugly, unlikable characters that don't act logically in regards to the situation at hand. Sylvie's character took a massive leap backwards. Somehow at peace doing her own thing, far removed from everything but also so filled with rage that she would go WELL out of her way to antagonize and attack.
