The only reason this is getting 2.9 out of 5 stars is because of the kindness of the Christians reviewing this. TBH… did not like most of the music. Theae were not performances, but weird lip syncing - very disconnecting. I don’t love most Christian music because of how inauthentic it is. This was about as inauthentic as it gets. It is also VERY boring watching lip syncing in my opinion. About an hour into the music, all I could think was how much I don’t relate to this music or people. I have walked with Jesus for 28 years and I love Him, His Word and His people. But the over commercialization of American Christianity very disconnecting. With all that being said, the actual episode was good. I just wish I did have to sit through the first hour and half to get to it. Couple other things: 1. The camera movements made it hard for my bride to watch. She gets motion sick, and they did weird things with the camera in the music portion. 2. I would not bring a non Christian to this. If they have any negative thoughts on Christians or Christianity, I don’t think this would help them.
