I thought this show was pure awful and so did my husband. Val Turner is a terrible character and Ryan Michelle Bathe is a subpar actress playing her. Morena Baccarin is stunning, but she's Brazilian and her Russian accent was either inconsistent or non-existent depending on the scene. The dialogue was lame. The storyline was unbelievable. The best part was seeing the guy who played Andrea's husband on Beverly Hills 90210. We won't be turning in for the next episode.

I never read the book, but this movie is terrible. The dialog is cheesy and seems like it's been plucked from a series of rehab brochures and after-school specials. It's slow, contrived and boring.
