I have been a hockey fan since before the Zamboni.
I am writing this to suggest several ways to improve the hockey broadcast.
The background noise is intolerable. Here are several options. First is to mute the rink speaker that seems to be in or near the broadcast booth. Second option is to use microphones that minimize the background noise. Third option is to not speak/compete with rink noise/announcer especially after the home team scores a goal. It may be good to listen to others where this is not a problem. My solution has been to mute my T.V.
I want to commend you on the super slow motion on goals and deflections as well as outstanding passing and stick handling.
Also why do you force coaches/players to answer inane questions? Please find a better more productive position for Pierre.
