Imagine Wes Anderson making a true detective season 1 inspired serial killer flick, but written by a bunch of high schoolers who think they are hard. This is a terrible film that doesn't just not go anywhere, it doesn't ever know what it wants to be. Very disappointing, one dimensional, predictable, and anti-climatic. It has a few moments of good dark humour particularly toward the end. It would have been better as a 20m short film, rather than the 90+ it drags out to be. Terrible film that left me totally uninvested.
