admittedly I’ve only seen a few episodes but can already tell the actor for clary completely ruined the legacy of the books. I highly suggest reading them, it’s one of my favorite series. in the books clary is much more bad*ss. she starts out being a curious, slightly sassy girl just trying to save her mother and transforms into a warrior. the actor is just whiny, annoying, and portrays clary awfully.
