I see where a lot of people are coming from when they say they don't like this new version of TMNT. I myself was very reluctant at first to watch it. But I'm so glad that I did. This show has some of the most beautiful animation from a T.V. show that I've seen in the longest time. Yes it's a different take, yes it goofier and sillier than the last one, and yes, some character choices for certain individuals are a bit off putting at first. But the show overall is. not. as bad. as. people. say. No, it doesn't have that nostalgia quality that a lot of older fans may have hoped for, myself included, but you have to realize that it is its own thing. I love this show, and I love its goofiness. It's a show about teenage mutant ninja turtles for god's sake, it's bound to not be very serious. It does not need to follow a strict guideline about what to say, or how to act. It's the same principle as Batman, or IronMan, or Spiderman, or whatever thing that has been around since forever. It's allowed to go through changes, and the changes are not. that. bad. It's a different concept, one that I love and hope they do more with. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
