I echo many of the other reviews. I usually devour the Penn Cage series….I’ve been eagerly awaiting “Southern Man”. Regardless of my politics, I read a fiction novel for entertainment and not having someone else’s personal politics, theories, slinging mud at US Military and basic racism. Sadly I won’t bother finishing this book. I got as far as I could tolerate …. I felt the need to look for reviews as I was taken aback by the tone and direction of this book. Reading the numerous reviews are validation that I am not the only one being disappointed in this latest book. Time for me to find a new go to series.
