It was really cute and clever in the first half and it had me laughing out loud! but it also felt very rushed storyline wise. As the movie went on random stuff started happening that wasn’t explained prior so it left me confused. I also feel like it got more and more dramatic as it went on and the amount of “woke” jokes was total overkill. I also feel like it was almost too “real.” Kinda was hoping for just a fun movie about Barbie but it got into really serious topics that didn’t leave me feeling as light hearted as i wanted to. Not the worst movie ever, but not as good as I was hoping for
