I see it as just scooby doo from a different dimension. It's adult and the personalities are different. It's an interesting concept.That deals with Velma's Mental status as well as her point of view.

The movie was Beautiful, funny, and keeps you wondering what gonna happen next. In the beginning I thought it was going to be very predictable But it turns out I was very wrong. All of the one star reviews are just complaining that the movie is too diverse ( Diversity is good of course). I'm Super glad I didn't see any spoilers Because I did not see any of the plots Twist coming. I honestly did love the movie. Disney has Earned themselves Customer Ps I thought the dog was absolutely hilarious.
