Shame on Chris Bohjalian who sold out to Hollywood and agreed to convert and trivialize a really good book. Known for his insightful treatment of global issues, Bohjalian disappointed me with this miniseries production. Csssie’s manic performance was way over the top and unrealistic and replaced the excitement and building psychological thrill element I expect from a Bohjalian creation with her version of comedy. Sometimes people walk when money talks.
