I really enjoyed reading Moxs book and it was quite nice hearing his perspective on a stadium in Toronto from years gone then seeing AEW peform there the same week I read about it. It really offered an insight into what he loves and what struggles he had to get where he is. I know of Mox's history but not in depth. Hearing it from him why he would brutalize himself and searching people he worked with that I have never heard of then leads to a rabbit hole of obscure wrestling facts which is quite enjoyable.
There seems to be no order to the book as if he is having a conversation built into chapters. Genuinely jumping back and forth through memories. Some people don't like this but it made me read extra hoping to get to the conclusion.
My only gripe is it's only 260 pages. He's lead an interesting and violent (wrestling) lifestyle and I am sure we are only scratching the surface. Would love to read more and more.
