This movie was horribly disappointing. They could have made much better use of today's special effects. Didn't give any backstory whatsoever. They picked a great child actor, that gave an awesome performance portraying an unemotional disturbingly detached child. But the others, especially their choice for the mother could have been better. Her bad acting was hard to watch. The relationship between him and his craft was a total contradiction which they didn't bother to explain or expand on. There were so many missed opportunities to improve this storyline the writers should be flogged. I have never given a movie a bad review but this one has inspired me to say Go back and do it again... The movie ends where it should have been ten or fifteen minutes in. Getting to the parts, movie goers came to see, after the movie ended... His uncle's and his performance and his uncle's death was the highlight of this whole movie.
