Excellent script, acting, costumes and cinematography. I loved every episode. What an incredible slice of Kyoto life, specifically in Gion with the Maiko and Geisha. It’s so unfortunate in real life, the high-arts are disappearing. The thoughtful and sincere inter relationships were so touching, especially the sisterhood and community.
