It was great when it started in the eighties. Now it sucks. Don't see why it still is on the air.

It's a shame such heavy special effects and not terrible acting were wasted on a dull uninspired script with silly plot and dialogue, lame save the children and the animals attempts at tear jerking. Wait let's not forget the super-sized monsters with all the scary teeth who really just want to be loved. The villain who is touched and becomes a good guy. All the lame cliches you can imagine. The action sequences made no sense. But boy was the computer graphics generated stuff impressive. Silly conversations during what are supposed to be critical events, silly arguments. I guess I just didn't get it. For all the explosions and they are gonna die, no they're not, yes,they are, no they're not, I was actually quite bored and could not wait for it to end.
