I saw the scars when I saw the book in Barnes and Noble. First time I'd been in a Barnes and Noble since I came out as NB. Jeez, it almost made me cry. I usually steer clear of books with even a twinge of romance, but I had to get it. I'm reading in in school too, because if someone's gonna get butt-hurt over a book then that person's not worth interacting with. Means a lot to see all this stuff portrayed properly. Felix's relationship with that one girl is portrayed in such a proper way, I'd know since I had a boyfriend once and thinking about it makes me uncomfortable because I'm very much only attracted to girls.
