Expected better. For a Sitcom, it brings up lots of Thoughtful points about being an (wealthy) African American in the US, however I’m really not sure what it brings to the table besides perpetuating stereotypes. Dad is very concerned about himself (his chain, his car, how white people see him, blah blah) but doesn’t bother to know where his kids go to school. Mom was a former lawyer that left work to be a “mom” yet she does no parenting. Another self absorbed character. The kids are awesome and are raising themselves. Good thing they have all that money that pays for the outsourcing of parenting. Not enough jokes to keep me around. Boring at times. Quit after episode 3. Stick with Blackish.
