I was absolutely stoked to see this film; I love a good thriller. However this movie was a bit pass thriller and I ended up leaving the theatre feeling utterly disturbed. On the contrary, I still enjoyed it. I think the producers, directors, the actors, the plot— the film itself was executed nicely. It was just too “real” for me. I believe this film brings awareness to matters we sweep under the rug and often don’t speak about and that’s what I enjoyed about it. I’m proud of the writers willing to step out of the box and give us a message that is too often overlooked. Thank you for such a great film.

Okay my turn. After reading the reviews, I felt the need to give my input. What a fantastic read. The author decided to do something different, which was tell the audience the answer to the plot in the very beginning of the book. With that, she continued to keep the book suspenseful. Lisa happens to be an excellent story teller and I would be delighted to meet her in person just to hear her thought process while curating an original novel. Definite page turner. Trust me you’ll love it. Lastly, I wasn’t able to predict the outcome. Best, Zakiya
