Jai bhim....A must watch movie in many aspects. Gripping till the end. It speaks of humanity, social justice, compassion and inclusion: values and practices which are shamelessly thin in today's world. Jai Bhim brings to the fore Ambedkhar, himself born a Dalit and who worked his way up to be India's first Law Minister. And of course, the very admirable lawyer Chandru who was inspired by BR Ambedkhar is the true hero and an inspiration. Equally, Surya has executed the role excellently, to say the very least. An amazingly talented cast that portrayed the trials and tribulations of tribal people so realistically! In all, the movie has many poignant lessons for humanity as a whole. Sadly, caste has been a predisposed privilege and at the same time, a curse to sections of the Indian population for ages. We need more educated activists like Chandru to turn tables. And highly educated, sane and empathetic politicians to see real value in equity for people, regardless. Jai Bhim will be a movie you would appreciate if you perceive dharma as a critical virtue to uphold and practise in life, no matter which faith you belong to or attach yourself to. Thankfully, the movie does not delve into the religious aspect of things, Hinduism in this case (at least not directly), especially when Ambedkhar is referenced at many points. Jai Bhim is truly a classic movie minus all the unnecessary 'masala'. So, don't give it a miss!🙆♂🥳
