Pandering - and like everything else Netflix has been doing. Just blatantly disrespects any tradition that isn't some marginal one. Warping history, warping fantasy. What's funny though of this liquidation of traditional normatives like chaos that was a box and is now free to be liquid will tear away any constructs created by humanity in the name of free will and subsequently warp the plane of equality into an ever shifting uncontrollable concept and we will stagnate like a body of water without wind. Through this a torrent of discontent will grow into a storm that will force the strength of people against others and when reality is approached in strength of body mind and number the water will then become a box again and thus the cycle of history will have repeated yet again .
