Chazja Stamps

A beautiful film that I ended up enjoying more than I thought I would. a The way some people talked I thought the underwater visuals would be bad or passable, but they were actually stunning! I think there was only once or twice I thought Ariel looked a little off, but the underwater scenes made me wish we never went up to the surface. Halle was wonderful as Ariel and you could tell they were not joking when they said this girl set a high bar because she has the voice of a siren and a Disney princess. Melissa was fun too! She really gave Ursula her all and just improved upon an already awesome villain. Eric was given more of his own story and personality which I think helped the relationship seem even sweeter than it was before. If you're curious I would give this film a watch because reviews do not do it proper justice. I think this version of The Little Mermaid can exist along side the animated film nicely.
