Well the most captivating characteristic of the original show for me was how simply it gave you valuable life lessons in a way that was easy to grasp for children and still pretty attractive to the adults. The netflix atla didn’t do that however. The cast were very smartly chosen. They delivered their roles flawlessly. The graphics were great too. The bending was quite realistic and the special effects exceeded expectations. That is exactly why I think the show is ruined. Let me explain. You watch the show thinking how amazing of an adaptation it is since it has so many eye catching features and the overall plot is the same. you forget that the whole reason why atla is a great show is how much you can actually use its teachings in your own life. Netflix did a brilliant job (like it always does) showing us a glamorous yet empty version of Aang’s story.
