Looked at a bunch of reviews before purchasing because i wasn't really sure about the hype and they were all 9/10, so i picked it up. Honestly kind of wished i would have passed on it
Adds new elements to the open-world genre pretty well, but gets repetitive quickly as do most. Story is decent but the general lack of body motion during cutscenes makes it hard to get emotionally invested a lot of the time because the characters are essentially just standing in one spot moving their mouths.
Combat is fun, but the stealth isn't very rewarding because most the enemies in strongholds always are pointed into a corner or a wall with their backs exposed with few patrols to make things interesting. The one on one boss encounters feel like a dumbed down Dark Souls boss fight as well.
Scenery is nice but it can look pretty cartoony at times and theres really bad pixelation around the character anytime you spin the camera that's really distracting. The overall map is good though. I think my favorite part about the game is the beautiful menus.
