What a superhero should be. It had action, imaginative visuals, likeable characters, epic scale that transports the audience to other worlds, along with mirth and heart... and even a welcomed touch of the director's horror film style. Never a dull moment. Love the design and concept!

At least it was less wooden than the sci-fi movie starring him and his son. Still uninspired and a generally dull movie that brings nothing new and isn't well executed. Save your money on this one.

Re-telling the old story from a new perspective may have been a fun idea, but this sequel is just an uninspired cash grab attempt at milking something that should have been a one off movie.

The action were minimal, and the beauty of the game detailing the aesthetics of the ancient world only appeared in a few snippets. The rest of the modern world scenes were dull, uneventful and poorly executed.

It's just a clinical rehash of pieces from the original trilogy, milking nostalgia and not well executed/ designed.

A film that wants to desperately tell a story filled with epic level tales with diversity as its focus rather than creating an interesting story/ plot. It failed in both developing the (too) many characters as well as delivering an epic or eventful finale. It was just boringly paced and the threats were hardly a threat at all in the end.

The characters were underdeveloped, especially the main. The aesthetics were so cliché and racial stereotypical to the point of embarrassingly insulting (farmer straw hat, magic dragon, Chinese waiter uniforms as character outfits, bamboo forest etc.). The martial arts, which the character is supposedly an expert of, decreases rapidly as the movie progresses, into a full CGI mess of a finale at the end.

Absolutely loved it! It retains everything that was great about the original and gave more in terms of animation!

It's dull and uninspired. The title lead lacked charisma. Only watch it if you're a completionist, though the story does not add anything of importance to the main MCU plot and served only as a rather bland intro to their marketed new flagship character to replace the older ones.
